Using trade shows for leads instead of sales
The heart of all businesses are leads.If your business has a product you want to sell, you need people to follow up with to try to make a sale.Well one place that generating leads are not truly taken advantage of are at trade shows.I say it is misused because most businesses want to try to make a sale then and there. Sure you can make sales at the trade show but if you really want to make a lot of sales concentrate on generating leads.Because most people at trade shows are just looking.They won’t and aren’t usually willing to buy, but if you have their information, you can follow up to make a sale.
So if you are going to use trade shows the right way and use them to generate leads you need a great portable trade show display setup. I say you need a great one set up because you really have to have something that attracts people’s attention.To put it another way if you have the crowd walking by and they aren’t impressed by what they see they aren’t going to stop.So make certain that the booth you set up is professional and attractive.
The next thing you want to do is have retractable banner stands.So then you can have your logo or nice image that you set up so it gets more attention to your booth.The booth is great but when you have a great looking banner as well, you really attract a lot of people to come.
Finally once you get them over to your tradeshow booth instead of concentrating on the sale concentrate on the first step.To put it another way you don’t run first, you always have to learn to walk.You have to look at acquiring their information as the beginning step. You will be able to close more sales with this in mind.Think about it, what do you think will be easier to do, get them to buy something or get their information? Their information is easier to get so you will get more of them.And as stated earlier, leads are the key to the success of your business.
