If you own a firm that relies on vehicles to deliver goods to clients, when it comes to buying new delivery vehicles, you may have to dig very deep into your pocket to finance the deal. It is particularly true during the grip of a recession, when maintaining any busines becomes a challenge.

It could be that time when the van needs to be maintained or replace to keep the business looking smart, but the cost maybe a worrry. There is another choice of the van owner to equip the business with up-to-date vehicles. Contract Van leasing is a great way for you or your business to get the latest vehicles to deliver your goods all for a monthly fee.

All you have to do is sign a contract for the van and just pay the monthly fees, and once your contract is over, if you renew it, you can get another brand new van. It is possible to get yourself a deal which includes all the maintenance of the vehicle, giving you one less thought to be worried about.

So where’s the catch, you may ask? But there is not one. Leasing or contract hire is a sound way to get the latest van or car for a smaller outlay. Also, because they are brand spanking new, they are unlikely to breakdown or go wrong in any way. Also, when you buy a new vehicle, there value can quickly depreciate, causing you to make a loss when it is time to sell it on. When you lease a van you don’t have these sorts of problems, because when the agreement time has expired, you simply return the vehicle. If you want do so, you can then select another vehicle and take out a brand new deal.

It has got to be the best and most cost effective way of getting the latest models for your business, especially during recessionary days. So, get out there and check out the latest deals in medium van leasing or perhaps pick up truck leasing that are on offer with some of the leading suppliers in the business.

One job that I used to have was that of a roadie, and for anyone who is in the dark about this, I will describe further. The roadie does all the hard grafting, from heavy lifting to assembly of the equipment for the whole show. As a fan of the group, you attend the concert and enjoy the performance and also the ambience of the whole event. But who cares about the people who work the long hours to ensure the safe transportation of the equipment from one venue to another?

Some see it as a glamorous job, obviously because you get to meet the band members, and at the start it is pretty cool. But having after three or four months on the road at a time, they soon become just ‘normal’ people.

If you end up working for famous rock stars, you will more than likely use fantastic equipment and unbelievable types of transportation. Small van transport is over, the big time means heavily articulated lorries and columns of juggernauts. This, in a way, is a benchmark of the success of a particular band.

In the old days someone would own an old Transit van, more than likely the driver would be a mate of one of the musicians. Back in the Swinging Sixties it began this way for me. The first van that I owned was a Commer, but the early seventies saw the arrival of the Ford Transit. From that point onwards, I never considered another brand – it has been Fords forever! In those days commercial van leasing did not exist to the extent that it does today. If we had even been interested in it, we were so broke we couldn’t possibly afford it.

If leasing products had been available, I would have been looking at medium or small van leasing or pick up truck leasing, which has bundles of style and fun.

One of the biggest and toughest things to do for your business is how to select reliable vans for your business.

Have you ever considered van leasing? Van leasing is an excellent alternative to purchasing vehicles straight up for your business. It gives your business the flexibility of having the van now and paying back over time. You can pick up some fantastic bargains with these vehicles and I would highly recommend it for any start up business that wants to make a good impression quickly. Small van leasing can cost from anything as low as £150 a month which is a fantastic opportunity for a business which does have the collateral straight away to buy brand new vehicles. Many companies specialise in medium van leasing and pickup truck leasing so any business can really get the most out of this. Some of the best vans out there would include the VW Transporter and the Renault Trafic which are two of the biggest and best vans on the market. On average a brand new Ranult Trafic van would go for £17,000 which could be a staggering dent into any company which are just starting up. Instead of this huge payment for a vehicle you could start by paying as little as £150 a month to get the same thing. This would provide your business with an excellent chance to grow at a fast pace with minimum payment heading out of your bank account each month.

To me it makes excellent business sense to hire a contract van rather than purcahse it straight away. Additionally, you get a constant warranty for your vehicle and you can get free MOTs as well! What more could you ask for? There are so many different vans out there to choose from and I would encourage eople to go and have a good look around before they put any money down.
