2010 is going to be an important year for both cars and vans as it is quite unexpected on whether or not there is going to be a rise or fall in the sales of the motor industry. It would seem that 2009 was a very bad one for the motor industry, they had to throw away a lot of jobs to stay afloat. What on earth is going to happen in 2010.

There is not really a way to tell as yet, these are two ways that it could perhaps go.

One Outcome

The recession well and truly comes to a stop and people start to realise they have a bit of money. It will then all go mad and people will start to buy cars again starting with the ones that they are really after. Although I suppose this could happen I am not too sure that the average person could find the funds for a new car. If this happens I am certainly expecting a rise in the number of transit van lease as well as minibus lease simply because it will be cheaper to travel as a group.

The More Likely Outcome

They could perhaps see a large number of green car sales but a fall in everything else. The fall in sales will be down to the tax increases that are on the way but if you have money you are still going to buy the car you want. It would seem that saving the world has become quite a big thing now and walking and riding into work is something that more people are doing.

The Camry is also well-positioned in the Canadian, Australian, and Southeast Asian markets, particularly in Cambodia.  However the european market has been immune to the Camry’s charms so much so that sales of the Camry in Europe has ceased since 2004, letting Toyota replace it with the Toyota Avensis.  The Camry is regarded as more executive and less sporty compared to its rivals, apart from its SE or sort trim.  The brand has been available for seven generations, excluding the Celica Camry make when it was first manufactured.  While the existing generation’s wheelbase was re-designed to be longer, trunk space has been reduced.  The Camry model for 2010 will include some changes like reworked taillights and fascia, a new 2AR-FE 4-cylinder engine with 2.5 litre capacity and 6 speed transmissions.  This generation is also the first with a gas – electrical cross-breed version, which is marketed as an environmental-friendly car.
