Finally you want to consider the number of years they spent in doing the business. This of course isn’t written in stone but generally if a company has been around awhile they must do good work.Because a company will not survive in the business if it does bad work.

Second thing to look for is whether or not the plumber is licensed.You will be shocked when you find out the amount of unlicensed plumbers there are.  I am surprised at how little people ask for my license in my Murrieta plumbing business.A license lets you know a company has the skills necessary to do the job.When you have a license that is a good indication that you were willing to do what it takes to prove your skills.That isn’t a good sign when a company can’t even get a license.

Finally you want to find the right kind of plumber.Some plumbing contractors are good at doing repairs.  While other plumbers focus on new construction.If you have a repair that needs to be fixed you are sure to want a plumber who does repairs.Someone that might have their focus and skill concentrated in the area of new construction might not have the experience for repairs.

One of the most common problems everybody has with plumbing is a clogged toilet.  Sometimes it is easy and a plunger will clear it.Then some times it will be needed that a plumber be the one to fix it.  But for most people I am going to share a few tips that will hopefully fix it so you won’t need a plumber.

Now these are some tricks I have picked up running my Temecula plumbing business.But these are some ways to fix it that most homeowners are going to be able to do.It won’t require you to use or have expensive equipment.  You don’t need to know all about the plumbing to fix it.Just be able to follow the directions and you should be able to fix it.

First of all you want to try a plunger.Most people will have a plunger and that is what can clear most clogged toilets.The plungers that are really effective will have fold out cup.That cup is what goes into the toilet trap.  That allows a good suction.Then what you are going to do is take it and use a back and forth motion very even.This should do the trick in clearing the toilet.

Next after the plunger is using a toilet auger.How it looks is it has a J shaped tube and a cable attached.A little bit like what you have in a drain snake.  It is one of my most used tools for my Murrieta plumbing service.  They can be purchased at most hardware stores.  What you do is insert the end of the auger into the toilet.Then you take the handle and push it in while you crank it clockwise.  This loosens any debris and clears the toilet.

These two tools should do the trick.But if it happens not to work you will have to call a good plumber anyways to come out.  It is more expensive then doing it yourself. But when you can’t, it is worth it to fix your plumbing.  Because having a clogged toilet in the house is no fun.Plus it will lead to a lot of other problems.
