It cost much cheaper than taking your vehicle into the repair shop, and the time in which the dents and dings are done is tremendously faster, like 10 to 20 minutes per ding or dent if you have an experienced PDR specialist. If not, it may take a little longer, but it really doesn’t take that much time.
There are special ways that these PDR specialists get at the dents and dings from the inside of the car, and then what they do is basically massage the dent or ding out of the car. It’s a very cool method, and if you learn how to do it, you can make a lot of money helping people sell their cars by making them appear as good as new and without dings.
So if you would like to get your vehicle sold and you want to get the best deal out of the sale, you should look into paintless dent removal services and see if they can help your car look sharp. You will surely make more money from a vehicle that has no dents and dings than one that is covered by them. A vehicle that is sharp looking without dents will fetch a higher price than a car that only has a few dents.
So with this option of paintless dent repair, you can get possibly a few hundred dollars or pounds more on your vehicle than what you had planned to get with all those dings from the cars parking too close by you in a parking lot.
Find either a repair shop that provides this nature of work, or a mobile PDR technician. Check out how many cars they have fixed and see if you can compare the prices with a regular car repair shop. You will be surprised at how much money you will save and the amount of time that you will have to leave your vehicle at the shop to have the repair done, or to have the PDR done.
Like mentioned above, if you have a PDR professional who knows what they are doing, every ding or dent should only take 10 to 20 minutes. If you go to a shop and put the car in to be repaired, you’re sure to have to leave it overnight instead. It could even take a few days depending on how many cars they have going in front of yours. So check out PDR and get more money from your car!

For the car dents that can be removed, begin by visiting a car repair retail shop. Dent removal kits consume a large deal of space on store shelves. Every dent removal kit includes all the tools necessary for the average do-it-yourself amateur car repair enthusiast.
In lieu of using a drill to work on car dents, many of the do-it-yourself removal kits opt for suction cups. Depending on the kind of dent removal kit, any relative item to a suction cup may be used instead of a drill.
To begin with, locate a dolly tool that specializes in the flattening and reshaping of metal. Add to this a metalworking hammer and the dent removal kit.
Locate the center of the dent. Put the suction cup or similar tool at this spot. For added removal strength, use the glue stick that comes along with many dent removal kits. Attach a handle to the suction cup for increased leverage in pulling the dent outward.
Gently begin to pull the suction cup and attached handle away from the center of the dent. This will flatten the dent out. Next, take the metalworking hammer to tap the front part of the dent. Keep the dolly firmly placed against the back portion of the dent. For this, going underneath the car exterior or through the car hood may be necessary.
Take a medium grit disk attached to a drill and remove the paint down to the metal. Create a section of at least one inch radius around the dent. Fill this area with a body filler product. When this area has dried, wrap a piece of sandpaper around a wood block and sand it. Begin with a 36 grit paper and end with a 120 grit paper.
With the area now sanded, apply six coats of auto designed primer. Let each layer dry before applying the next coat. Sand the area again using a 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper application. This step gets rid of all non-visible scratches on the dent surface.
