Honda Cars – A Closer Look
Honda makes some of the best autos there are, that’s a fact. That’s why in many categories Honda cars are the most popular for consumers. These autos are made to some of the highest standards of any cars. They even stand up to more expensive cars. Quality and reliability describe Honda well.
One of their best cars is the Honda Civic. With models from a sedan to a coupe and even a hybrid version, many people purchase and drive this model. There are models around $23,000 as well as more basic ones in the $15K range. This car is also one of the best when it comes to gas mileage. The coupes and sedans get around 36 miles per gallon on the highway, while the hybrid boasts 46 highway miles per gallon. Because of the necessity to replace the battery, the hybrid still ends up being more expensive over time.
Honda Civic retains its value. People who sell them or trade them are often surprised at how much value they retain. When the maintenance schedule is followed someone could sell the old Civic every few years and buy a new one for only a few thousand more. Some people like new cars every few years, so that’s fantastic.
Often, folks aren’t looking to sell. The same features that make resale value so high also make this car a good candidate for long term service. Maintenance is the key. If well maintained the car can be around in 20 or even 30 years. That’s a good thing. It becomes a friend, not just a tool. And there are a lot of other things to do with money other than buying or repairing vehicles.
Another nice Honda car is the Element. This small sized SUV is a real bargain. It has features that lend itself to the type of SUV adventurous people need. Most of the interior is rubber, along with cloth seats and a plastic dash. At first this seems to scream cheap, but there’s a method to the madness. The interior is designed to be easy to clean. Get sand in there from a trip to the beach, and it can be washed away with a hose. Yes, a hose, inside the car. Leather may seem nice until the car is actually put to use.
The popularity of Honda cars is well placed. Their quality creates that popularity. Think about a Honda for your next car.
