The Best Film Cars

Over the years there really have been some very famous cars featured in films from the normal to the weird. Here are just a few of my personal favourites.

Herbie

This one really does deserve a mention simply because of the amount of films that have come out of the franchise. Was the latest addition that great, I dont think so but it still made a lot of money because there are so many followers to the franchise. Faster than Audi leasing?

Ecto- 1

1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor was the car of choice here and it was a classic before the films now it is a cult classic and is one of the most famous cars ever. The car itself doesn’t come without problems and according to Ray has brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear end all need work done to it. I forgot to add in the mufflers and all of the wiring. Of course they must have had some serious bad credit car leasing.

Batmobile

The original 1954 Lincoln Futura came with a special bat-phone and bat-turbine and after being made famous in the television series they couldn’t not include it in the film so they did and I have to say this is by far the bets bat vehicle ever made purely because it’s a classic.

De Lorean

This is not only my favourite car ever and if I had the money I would get my hands on one, Back To The Future is and always will be the best movie ever. This is the movie that I grew up watching time and time again and I could still watch it over and over now and never get bored. The car helped make this movie there is no doubt about that but the cast just polished the awesome film off.

Cheap Lease Cars these most certainly are not and if you haven’t seen these films, what are you doing with your life?!

Some Awful Car Movies

Here as a list of some of the most embarrassing movies that have featured cars within them. Many of them have done okay in the box office but in my personal opinion are just rubbish.

Herbie: Fully Loaded

This film took reinvented the Herbie franchise and was released in 2005 and starred Lindsay Lohan, Justin Long and Michael Keaton. The reason why it is on the list is simply because it couldn’t possibly touch the original films and although it may significant profit and won Lohan an award it just wasn’t up to the standards that it should have been.

Fast and Furious

Although there are so many people that love these films and think they are the best car films out there I will say I have to disagree and I think they are all rubbish. The film has not done the world any good, people think they can pimp up cars that are rubbish and it just cannot be done. The storyline to all of these films is dull and samey and always ends up in a very rubbish race near the end. For some strange reason these films do very well at the box office despite the crtitcs never really seeming to like them.

The Italian Job- Remake

The Italian Job remake was just something that should have never been attempted and although it was made as a homage to the original rather than a remake. The film itself had a fair number of half decent actors in it but it was just a very poor film and a sequel which is what they are planning would be even worse.

In all seriousness, if you are actually considering getting a car then it may be worth looking into car leasing or van leasing as it can actually prove to be a cheaper way of doing things. When it comes to purchasing a vehicle it can always be a good idea for you to look at all of the options that are available. If it is a certain manufacturer that you are after then why not look at BMW Leasing.
