used car dealers & fuel economy cars
Now why don't we consider the topic of used cars. Should you buy used cars or new ones? New cars begin depreciating the second you sign the papers. That makes the question a lot simpler to answer. Since a car is a depreciating asset, meaning in general cars lose value with time, the best money decision is to purchase the car when it will tend to lose less value. Maintenance costs are also a factor. The slightly used car is about the best for both concern. The big hit to car value has already occurred. That loss went to the original owner. The car is still in good condition, often still under warranty, so that it won’t have need for constant and costly repairs like an older model car needs.
Continuing the discussion about used car prices : There are many places to look for late model used cars. Dealerships take in trade-ins from customers who purchase or lease new vehicles. The dealers want to sell those cars. Companies like Carmax specialize in used automobiles, while eBay has an entire subsection dedicated to car auctions, mostly for used vehicles. There are car auctions in every city. These include police auctions of impounded vehicles as well as dealer auctions that might involve, for example, cars purchased from car rental companies.
When dealing with used cars one will also want to consider fuel consumption and The most trusted source for used car prices is Kelly Blue Book. Categories include make, model, year and condition from poor to excellent. It also breaks down the prices between dealer sales and private sales. That does make a difference because dealers have overhead that private sellers do not have.
Have you considered financing? Think about saving up the pennies and making a cash purchase. No matter how low the monthly payments or interest rate, paying cash is better. Yes, cars are status symbols. But bells and whistles can cost a lot of money. That can even mean a less stressful life. People with more expensive cars worry more about theft, accidents and wear. Not that used car owners like to drive junk, but a little ding or dent means less on a simpler model.
Sure cars are a status symbol, but wealth isn’t based on what you spend. Wise spending turns into wealth. There are people living hand to mouth even though they earn a lot of money. Good used cars help the budget.

Hello! Lindsey Harper here. One of the things I love to do here at this blog is present deals I’ve found on used luxury cars.Today, almost everyone can afford to buy a fancy car if they know where to look for it.I’m here to help! Through my experience in finding deals, I have come across many great bargains on cars for sale.
I’m sure you’re familiar with the Maserati brand of cars. Well, I found this 2004 Maserati Coupe GT at one of the Internet auction sites. As you know, a Maserati can run into the many thousands of dollars. But this car is available for only $39,900! We can pay that much for cars for sale of far less quality!
You don’t want to miss this incredible opportunity. You can be sure that this vehicle will go fast! Also, most Internet auction sites that deal in used cars are willing to negotiate and take trade-ins, so it pays to bargain.
When you’re in the market for cars for sale, you really need to pay attention to where you’re looking if you’re interested in a great deal. Used cars, especially used luxury cars, can be a great bargain. They say a car begins to lose its value the moment you drive it off the lot - which is the reason why a used car is a smart buy.
You can find great deals on cars for sale at Government Auction Network. They specialize in local and government auctions, but they also present used luxury cars from a used car website that partners with them. They want to give you the best deals from a variety of sources.

The attraction of cars for sale
I often watch how men don’t miss picking up that magazine full of cars for sale. Some of the magazines are free, and some are fairly pricey, but it does not seem to matter. If they have cars for sale inside then they are a polular item that will not be left on the shelf.
I also wonder what the absolute magnetic fascination is. What causes it ? What draws men to cars like a moth to a flame ? While I am fairly certain that the full answer will elude me. But there are a few pointers to consider.
Firstly, there is that impression and belief that beautiful women are attracted to a beautiful car as well. By association you as a male would attract beautiful women if you owned such a car.
Secondly, status goes hand in hand with the looks or price class of a car. A financially successful man is associated with a good looking and pricey car. Once again, by association, you would be seen by others as being successful if you owned such a car.
Thirdly, there is the element of excitement and the rush of adrenaline also associated with speed. Those racey cars that are seen in the movies that speed down the motorways or race each other in high speed chases.
Fourthly, there is that manly and macho image of a man just looking under the hood in his overalls and a spanner in hand.
I don’t think it gets much more complicated than that. By association, man and machine give off that which a women desires, and therefore a man desires. But does it start with the women ? No, I don’t think so. It seems to be an inbred thing. An instinct thing. To be honest, it seems to be very attached to the Alpha male theory.
Anyway, nobody can deny that cars for sale have become a very sought after commodity. Car dealerships have sprung up all over as a result. These car salespeople, especially the proverbial second hand car salesman has become the brunt of jokes.
One of the mainstream businesses around are car dealers, both new and second hand, and they use all forms of advertising. TV, radio, newspapers, flyers and many other.
The internet or online platform is also becoming more popular nowadays. Car dealers who are wising up to sales trends and the buying patterns of people nowadays are realizing the value of online sales. In fact, one dealer told me that 80% of his car sales originated online. That is a very large part of his business !
Some webmasters are also wising up, and creating hubs for dealers to advertise on where a client can submit his request for a car and get response from all participating dealers on the site.
One such a hub is http://www.vaalmotortrader.co.za . It has become a very convenient way for a client to shop, without the pressures of a salesperson trying to close a deal.
I predict that in the time ahead, we will see a bigger move towards this way of buying cars for sale. Keep watching !
When looking at cars for sale, what do you consider ?
What do you look for when looking at cars for sale ?
So many of us are impulsive car buyers. Instead of making a list of what we want in a car and then go out looking where we can find what we are looking for, we walk into a showroom and buy on emotion. They say it is much like the difference between a man and a woman doing grocery shopping. Now men will not want to hear this, but statistics show beyond the shadow of a doubt that women are the ones who food shop according to their list. It is men that are the impulsive and guilty parties when shopping for food, and exactly the same thing happens when looking at cars for sale.
So, if you were a man, and one of the above minority, what would you be looking for ? What would be on your "list" ? let’s look at a few possibilities.
Functionality:
This should be high on your list. A car should surely be practical and functional for the purpose it is bought. A family would not want to buy a 2 door sports car. A delivery vehicle rather than a sedan would be appropriate for someone needing to transport goods.
Economy:
While there is excitement in listening to the roar of 6 cylinders, it sure does not go a long way to keeping your budget balancing. A smaller vehicle or engine will reduce your fuel consumption considerably, saving you a lot of money.
Durability or longevity:
I would not like to get into brand name trashing, but some cars just seem to last longer than others. There are brand names on the market that have been around for decades, those age old models still to be found on our streets. There are then also those cars which just do not seem to last ?
Appearance
Now this is what the emotional people will be looking for – the impulsive buyers. Is it sleek, racy, sexy ? Does the colour attract ? How the lines look ?
Performance
Essentially this is also what the impulsive buyer looks for. While performance is a practical factor, many view it as being the essential "racy" feature they want so as to beat the other cars speeding on the highway.
The question you should be asking yourself however is – when I look at cars for sale – what do I look for ?
