Increasing fuel mpg with water

A few weeks ago, I was asked to review a collection of e-books that provide full instructions on how to use excess energy from your car engine to split water into oxygen and hydrogen. The mixture, known as Brown’s gas, after its discoverer, is fed into the normal fuel flow of your car to give a huge increase in fuel mpg. This stimulated my interest in the whole subject of alternative technology, and the more I examined it, the more I found that there is whole range of technologies out there that appear to offer enormous benefits but that have not been taken up by the mainstream manufacturers.

It seems that some had not been able to attract any funding to continue their research or they had been the subject of various sorts of threats.

Some, it seemed, have been offered large sums of money to halt their work or, most sinister of all, they had died in mysterious circumstances. If these sorts of claims had been made by just a handful of people then it’d be easy to dismiss them out of hand. However, claims like this are popping up all the time. What could be happening here?

Just think about the average fuel mpg of the average car. It’s improved by about 20 – 40% in the last forty years. However, all sorts of teams, from professional engineers to garden shed mechanics have entered cars into competitions that are able to achieve well over 120MPG with little difficulty. Car makers are now able to do so many things in terms of steering, brakes, transmission etc, it’s hard to believe that they can’t do anything about fuel economy. If they actually produced such a vehicle they’d surely blow the competition away.

There is clearly considerably more work to be done to find out what’s going on but firstly I’m going to fit a hydrogen system to see if it does confer the fuel mpg benefits that the inventors claim. Luckily, both the guide book and the components are easy and cheap to buy. I’m quite confident becasue the technology is plausible and the guides themselve seem to have been well received.

Of course, all fuel mpg economy systems have come under close scrutiny recently because, as the oil price has rocketed, improving fuel mpg has become a top priority for many drivers. There are lots of products out there offering to improve your fuel mpg and some of them are completely useless, so take your time when examining the options. That said, there’s no point in delaying either and for my money, the hydrogen injections systems that I’ve been talking about offer the best bang for your buck that you’re likely to find anywhere.
