Getting the best Vans for your Business

One of the biggest and toughest things to do for your business is how to select reliable vans for your business.

Have you ever considered van leasing? Van leasing is an excellent alternative to purchasing vehicles straight up for your business. It gives your business the flexibility of having the van now and paying back over time. You can pick up some fantastic bargains with these vehicles and I would highly recommend it for any start up business that wants to make a good impression quickly. Small van leasing can cost from anything as low as £150 a month which is a fantastic opportunity for a business which does have the collateral straight away to buy brand new vehicles. Many companies specialise in medium van leasing and pickup truck leasing so any business can really get the most out of this. Some of the best vans out there would include the VW Transporter and the Renault Trafic which are two of the biggest and best vans on the market. On average a brand new Ranult Trafic van would go for £17,000 which could be a staggering dent into any company which are just starting up. Instead of this huge payment for a vehicle you could start by paying as little as £150 a month to get the same thing. This would provide your business with an excellent chance to grow at a fast pace with minimum payment heading out of your bank account each month.

To me it makes excellent business sense to hire a contract van rather than purcahse it straight away. Additionally, you get a constant warranty for your vehicle and you can get free MOTs as well! What more could you ask for? There are so many different vans out there to choose from and I would encourage eople to go and have a good look around before they put any money down.

Ways to remove annoying pests

Pests are one of those things that frustrates homeowners. There are lots of pests that can be frustrating to homeowners. It can be bugs and insects.Or it can rodents like mice and rats. Those are the most common pests in a house that can drive the homeowners crazy.  Often times it seems like a battle that can’t be won.But you have a chance to beat them if you just follow these tips.

Hiring an exterminator is the most obvious way to get rid of these pests.  My San Diego pest control company gets calls all the time regarding pests. That is the reason why I know that pests can really be frustrating. You kinda feel like there are trespassers in your house. What is worse is you would feel like you are being outnumbered especially if the pests are bugs. And that can be scary sometimes.

Aside from hiring a pest control company there are also other ways to get rid of those pests. When it comes to ants you should keep all your food stored in the fridge or stored in containers and do not leave them exposed.  In my San Diego ant control business that is what I find is the biggest problem. People get invaded by ants because they don’t keep their home clean.  So if you eat make sure to clean up all foods and stains.  Ants will love stains to.They still get some food from that stain.

With regards to rodents, sometimes there is not much you can do about them. You can prevent them from going to your kitchen if you store your food properly just like with ants. Obviously in my San Diego rodent control company mice can eat through most packages. But it would be best if you just would not give any reason for them to come into your house.  But if they try to nest in your attic you have to hire a pest control company to get rid of them.

If you could follow these tips then there is a big chance that your frustrations would be lessened.  Of course you can’t completely eliminate them by yourself. But your efforts will lessen those pests and control their numbers until you can hire an exterminator.

Should I Lease A New Car or Buy Brand New

Having just started a new job I feel that the time is right for me to be looking into buying a new car. To be honest I have owned my Fiat Punto for over 6 years now, and although she has done me well, she is looking a bit battered and bruised.

My biggest predicament is which car should I think about investing in?

There are a lot of cars on the market now and my concern is if I make the wrong choice, I could be stuck with a car for the next 6 or 7 years.

Somebody I know recommended leasing a car for a few years. My first thought was it would be too costly to pay out each month on a lease, when I could simply buy one outright.

I made the decision to carry out some research to obtain facts and figures and see what sort of deals were around for Cheap Lease Cars.

I was very surprised by the competitive deals around, but still undecided about which car to choose.

My very first car was a Vauxhall Nova, so I thought that probably looking into Vauxhall Contract Hire could be a good place to start.

Vauxhall has some great models available, though I will admit to thinking about leasing a car that was a bit more in tune with my new company status.

My partner bought a Toyota Avensis and he is very happy with this model. He has found his car to be very dependable with no problems. With this in mind I decided to carry out a search into Toyota Contract Hire and I was more than impressed with the Toyota Landcruiser. The Landcruiser seems like a tremendous motor, big enough for the family, lots of room for the weekly shopping and it will certainly look great in the car park.

I am confident that the Landcruiser will suit me very well over the next 3 years. What is brilliant is that at the end of the 3 year lease, I can buy the car.

Shopping At The Cash And Carry Can Be An Unpleasant Task

I was speaking to a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago who runs her own Newsagents business. She has owned the business for a few years now and works some very unsociable hours.

She was telling me that she adores working in the shop, but when she closes, her working day still is not over. She still has the job of visiting her local Cash and Carry to buy replacement stock for the shop.

I was puzzled why she has to go daily, but she explained as she does not own a van, has to use her own car for the stock run, and obviously this cannot hold much stock.

This set me thinking if I could somehow ease her plight a little. I thought that a van would definitely be a help to her business. I felt this would enable her to purchase greater amounts of stock at the Cash and Carry, therefore minimising the time spent there. At the present time, I know that she cannot afford to purchase a new van. Bearing this in mind, I decided to carry out a little bit of investigative work into the benefits of Van Contract Hire.

After collating the information I researched, I feel at present this would be the best solution for her transport requirements. Bearing this in mind, I have suggested that she should take a look at Ford Transit Leasing as an alternative to using her private car.

I was also thinking about other ways we could improve her business and remembered that at the back of her shop she had an unused fridge, which could be fully utilised. It might be worth considering Refrigerated Van Leasing when thinking about a van for her business.

I think whichever van she does decide to lease; it can only benefit her business.

Amazing Winning Secret To The 327 Corvette Fuel Injected Engine

327 corvette engine power under the hood linked to a chevy 350 transmission. This beautiful painting of a sun fire Yellow has been reproduced as a limited edition art print. We utilized the rear end, 4-speed transmission, and rochester fuel injection. Under the hood is a 4-speed transmission. This corvette, was bought by a California resident who completely restored it, except for the undercarriage from the filming which were left for historic interest. It had been designed from the outset for a V-8.

This technology was primarily limited to military and commercial aircraft until the 1960s when specified crankshafts for the 327 Corvette. This model features a 350 turbo transmission. The stock motor mounts bolt to the new LT1. With 93 horse power 3 speed  Automatic transmission, Floor shift, Independent front torque tube rear suspension, Hydraulic brakes. The cars Hammerstein stores are a 1962 Corvette he owned for more than 20 years.  The 1969 has a Special 4 barrel carburetor, with a three speed overdrive turbo auto transmission. 65-66 vintage with a 375 horse power engine in it for power. Chevy corvette 327 engine installed in a steel body of the 1929 Sedan on solid frame. During his trip up, he blew away a brand in 1964 fuel injected engine.

Talked my brother out of a 1967 Corvette motor with double hump heads and a 350 automatic from an old Impala, I think.  But my most fun, fast, loud, and chick magnet, street racing combination was a roller cam 327 motor with 471 whining blower, protruding through the hood, with dual quads under an injector air scoop, connected to a 1950 hydro with drilled valve body and furnace brazed torque converter, coupled up to a 50 ton truck locked rear end, with 5:14 ring and pinion, spinning slicks.

I ran the car like that until it came out with the 327 Corvette motor in 1962. There was a man who would show up sometimes, when I was a drag racer in the 1960s in Detroit. He had a 1960. I bought a new engine, 375 horse power. My brother had a 1955 car that was hopped up. His red, white, and black super engine. It provided by a four speed behind it. Question I recently purchased a 1957 car. He took that car and dropped a crate motor in it along with a full rear suspension. For power Fred went with a motor with injection by Street & Performance, a 700R4 overdrive automatic, and a Nova rear end.  We put a 1965 fuel injected engine in it.

8 Cylinder, 327 Corvette 1968-1969 engine, automatic transmission, 120 miles, new dash, new interior. Most exotic was the 1956. The engine the car had a 283 as the last running engine and I have upgraded that to a 62 issue engine. He traded a motor my dads friend Mike the hack had. The front and front bodywork hood opens up and hinges forward to reveal a small block with Hill born injection with eight trumpets reaching to the sky in search of air. Around 1988 I built an all out light weight 400 for a customer who was running super stock.

Having the Dealership Repair Your Vehicle

There are times when it seems as if the technicians at your dealership’s service bay are giving you the run around. You know your vehicle is experiencing an issue, but you can’t seem to get the mechanics to fix it properly. Sometimes, the problem is due to your not being able to duplicate whatever glitch you’re noticing. Other times, you can duplicate it, and the technicians fix it, but only for a short time. Within days, the glitch rears its ugly head again.

It can be trying to have repairs performed at the dealership. In this article, I’ll provide a blueprint that you can use to help make sure your vehicle gets the attention it needs and deserves.

Explain The Problem… In Detail

Car owners will often be unable to accurately communicate the problem to the mechanic. This is never effective - communication is very important in resolving problems. If possible, try to duplicate the issue in front of the auto technician, so he’ll better understand what is happening. If you’re unable to replicate it, provide as much detail as you can regarding the problem. You’re not expected to know if it’s the transmission, the engine, the starter, or what.  In many cases, giving a clear description can help reduce the time spent diagnosing the glitch and pave the way toward a faster resolution.

Preparing For Escalation

If you pick your car up from the service bay and the issue has not been resolved, or it occurs again down the road, go back to the dealership. Speak with the service manager who oversees the mechanics. This person’s compensation is partly dependent on the level of satisfaction of the dealership’s customers. He will likely work hard to make sure you're happy with the repairs. In some cases, he may ask a technician on his staff who has a significant amount of experience in a given area to take a closer look.

If you are still unsatisfied, it is time to approach the general manager. Like the service manager, his compensation will be partly tied to the customers' overall satisfaction level. Be tactful, but firm. And keep in mind that occasionally, some cars turn out to be lemons.

Let Me Speak To Your Supervisor

At this point, the technicians in the service bay have been unable to resolve the problem you’re experiencing with your vehicle. The service manager and general manager have likewise been unsuccessful. Even the owner of the dealership can't seem to help. It's time to get the manufacturer involved.

Automakers strive to develop and maintain brand loyalty among their customers. To that end, they provide dealers with the tools they need to resolve nearly any problem imaginable. In rare cases, though, an issue will need to be escalated to the regional office of the automaker. When you contact them, be clear about your expectations. Explain that you want the problem fixed or you want another car.

It’s worth emphasizing that most dealers want to do everything in their power to fix any glitches you’re experiencing with your vehicle. However, in the event that you're not satisfied with their efforts, use the above blueprint to get the service your car needs.

Best Car Rental Options

Certain things need to be considered when choosing a car rental agency. It is always best to plan your trip in advance and make your investigations about rates that are charged by the different companies.

Do not be misled into thinking that an advance booking will give you discounted rates, normally this is not the case. Car charges are not constant and vary through out the year. So at the time of your booking make sure you know which rates will apply when you pick up the car.

So before choosing a car rental it would be best to have an estimate of the amount that you are willing to spend on the rental, and the different sites that you intend to visit. You should also know the exact dates of your trip and whether you can change them or not. These facts will help you choose the right car and help you when you are negotiating as well.

The best way to make a car booking would be to do it online. Most companies will offer you a discount for booking online because they save on time and money. When you are getting your quote from the car rental ask if their cars have any add on features that you might require. Things like roof racks for luggage and sporting equipment, any navigation systems or storage facilities.

Car rentals will have daily rates for a limited number of km and then charge per km there after. For those renting the car for more than two days you can negotiate a cover charge for the whole period than pay for extra km’s travelled . Some will require you to pay for extra drivers whilst other just need you to have them written down only. What it comes down to is looking at the original deal, comparing it with others and then good negotiating skills. Some of the agencies that you might want to look are:

  1. Car Hire Sandton South Africa
  2. Car Hire Johannesburg South Africa
  3. Car Rental South Africa

History Of The Ford Boss 302 Mustang

In an effort to burnish their total performance image introduced the 428 Cobra Jet in year 1968, and in 1969, built one of Detroit most interesting power plants, the Ford Boss 302 Mustang engine. It was built for model years 1969 and 1970, is named for its engine. The past and present collide as these two Mustangs take to the track. Dragon Power is the first die cast model to feature the original style. Boss 302 customized car parts and exterior and interior design fuses the look and feel of present technology. Their tribute starts off with a motor swap to a crate engine that came directly from Performance.

The new hood on the American Speed Company is the prototype for the production version, the front suspension and brakes have been installed, and the new Boss 302 is being fitted with a Vintage Air Front Runner system. The Vanquish body shells were fitted with 300 horse power mounted as far back in the chassis as possible. When most muscle car fanatics make reference. Initially built in 1969 and again in 1970, combined muscle car performance with incredible handling. That car ignited lifelong passion for race cars, and began racing on the historic and vintage car circuit, moving to historic stock cars.

But unlike other corvettes, which cloak their power beneath stock skins, our test car arrived under gift wrap special edition body kit penned by styling wizard designer of the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray and the Ford Boss Mustang. The program was part of an effort to win the Championship in 1969 and 1970. The new Racing Performance Parts line was conceived because there was an unmet need for engines built from a block stronger than original regular production engine blocks but more affordable than full race prepped blocks.

Despite its strength and capability, surprisingly affordable because of its high volume production. Boss 302 block is affordable at $1,759, while complete engines range from $4,650 to $10K for the 500 horsepower 331 cubic inch motors. This had nothing to do with the Cleveland heads, as rules dictated a 302 cubic inch displacement, so stroking a 351 Cleveland block was not an option, so ford engineers solved this dilemma by mating a Windsor block with high flow Cleveland heads, a clover if you will, that had high revolutions per minute capability to make the most of the high turbofan engines offered by the heads, which was conducive of the large 4v ports and canted combustion chambers.

The new Ford Racing Performance Parts Boss Mustang line was conceived because there was an unmet need for engines built from a block stronger than original regular production 302 blocks but more affordable than full race prepped blocks. Making its debut in 1969, the original powered a limited production Mustang model sold for two years. The program was part of an effort by the Ford Motor Company. Stability front cross over lifter oiling for high revolutions per minute valve train capability bores with specifically engineered drilling between cylinders for maximum wall stability and gasket sealing with street capable cooling performance.
