In terms of legacy, reputation and cult appeal, there are few more popular cars than that of the MINI. Ever since the film ‘The Italian Job’ starring Michael Caine and Noel Coward proved to be an enormous hit with moviegoers everywhere, the MINI’s popularity has grown and grown at a truly remarkable rate. However, the popularity of this small, user friendly car was put at risk when the MINI was acquired by BMW and the design changed to a large extent. The purist MINI fans were obviously not very pleased as they felt the classic style of the car had been homogenised and removed from the kind of amazing cult domain it had been housed in for many years. However, those of us who had admired the MINI from afar enjoyed the way the image had been brought up to date. In addition to this it now housed a galactically more reliable and powerful BMW motor was also a massive plus.

It seemed that a great number of others shared this opinion and the popularity of the MINI once again soared, as did the prices. For a car of its size, to say the price was slightly steep would be the most grandiose exaggeration in the world. I am not meaning to imply that you don’t get value for money, but when you’re paying over £10,000 you want something a little…bigger, perhaps. Nevertheless, the units kept driving off the forecourts and continue to sell in great numbers despite the terrible economic climate we find ourselves in.

I, however, discovered a way to save money and still end up with a superbly attractive MINI. The trick is to buy a Used MINI. Now we all know that the depreciation of these vehicles is incredibly biased toward the seller as they can charge relatively high prices and still guarantee a sale due to the vehicles popularity, but there are still bargains to be had.

Just last weekend I spotted a Used MINI advertised for a very small £7,000 and only had 30,000 miles on the clock. For the kind of quality you are getting, this looked slightly too good to be true. I decided to check the car out for myself and sure enough there were a few bumps and scratches and the tyres needed replacing, but all in all it looked like a very fair price, for a very good car indeed.

In the current supermini market, so many companies are peddling out the same homogenised ideas and designs that it is getting hard to find a truly individual car. The wedding is one of the most special days for a couple’s life. Well as a San Diego wedding photographer I have seen the ways couples have gone about trying to choose ones.  From my experience here are a couple of key points to look at when deciding.

First thing you should know is the budget you can spend for a photographer.It would not do you any good if you find someone you like but is very expensive for you to afford. Once you have decided how much your budget would be then that is the time you can pare down the choices that you have.  Of course since it is such a special day my opinion as a San Diego photographer is to now worry about price.  Since the photographer will be in charge of capturing that moment forever price shouldn’t be an object. But if price is a deciding factor then you should be able to determine your budget for hiring one.Once you know the limit of your budget then it would be easier for you to look for a good photographer that you like.

Finally once you know your budget go on a round of interviews. It is like any job.If you have a business and you are looking for someone to work with you would you just immediately hire someone that you encounter?  Of course you wouldn’t and neither should you with hiring a photographer for the job.You would want to know if you are compatible personality wise.  You will want to see their work.  And from my experience as an event photographer San Diego, you want to see how much experience they have dealing with weddings. If you go and interview a lot of prospects then you should definitely find a photographer that you like.

One of the heaviest task for any wedding is being a photographer. That person is given the big job of capturing that special day.  They are not just given the job of taking pictures of that special day.They are also given the task of making the event look like an event that only happens in fairytales.  Or at least all photographers should understand that.So here are some words of advice for you to be able to make weddings magical.

First of all as a San Diego wedding photographer one of the best pieces of advice is to try and have the wedding shots during the best lighting.Now what time do we consider the best for taking wedding photos.  That is debatable.But a lot of photographers would agree that the best time to take pictures is early morning.Although it is also nice to capture photos on a late afternoon.In doing so, you will be able to avoid too much sunlight that can affect the quality of your shots.  This allows you take good quality photos.

Second as a San Diego photographer, I make sure to know the schedule of events.It is important to have the knowledge about the flow of events.  This allows the photographer to get ready to capture those moments.Anticipated shots are possible when a photographer knows the flow of the wedding program.Not just the formal shots but the candid ones as well.Most of the time, candid shots are those that would really reflect the special moments that happened during that day.

Finally doing event photography in San Diego you should always be prepared. Backup films should always be in hand.They have to see to it that they are always ready with a backup camera in case the one in use gets broken. A backup is a must for any equipment that can be broken.  The last thing you want to have happen as the photographer is something breaking.It would be terrible to miss taking shots when something breaks.The generel rule is to be always prepared.If you do that you will be assured that you will not encounter problems in capturing photos for that eventful day.

One thing sad about the human condition is we aren’t always honest. Unfortunately people lie and sometimes your spouse cheats on you.Or your children could lie to you about the people that they mingle with.  In times past you really couldn’t monitor this.But with the improvement in information and the internet you can now do it.

Take a cheating spouse for instance.  In times past they may have been able to get away with things.  But now a careless cheating spouse could be caught by the numbers on their phone. As you may know, all mobile phones has a feature of keeping records of a lot of calls. Well if you do a reverse lookup by phone number a spouse that suspects that their lover is cheating can find out who that unknown number is. You don’t have the means to do that back then.You would have to usually dial the number and try to recognize the voice on the other end and try to find out who it is. But not this time.

Or in your teen’s case.  Every teen seems to have a cell phone.  Well in our day and age sometimes we just want to know who our kids are hanging out with.Or what’s worse is when we want to know if they are hanging out with older people. Just like with cheating spouses we can look at their phone records and do a reverse cell phone number look up and see just exactly who our kids are contacting.If the names that would appear are all familiar then we can breathe a sigh of relief.BUt if there are unknown names then we can investigate further.

Conducting investigations becomes easier with rhe advent of technological advancements.
