Ford Aspire Actually A Good Car

July 3rd, 2009

From 1994 up till the year 1997, the Ford Motor Company sold the Ford Aspire. This was a subcompact automobile which has been provided with two options as specified by the number of doors. One held three doors while the other one held five doors. The entire body of the Ford Aspire was made by the Kia Motors company with headquarters in South Korea. The engine as well as the engine elements was from the Mazda automobile company in Japan. It is very interesting to notice this car has been sold and marketed as the Kia Avella in Asia. However, if you travel to Japan and Australasia, you’d be surprised to discover the Ford Aspire is known there as the Ford Festiva. It is only one vehicle however it’s been sold under different names.

The average fuel economy for the Ford Aspire is some 30 miles per gallon which is quite a different number from what the manual says. The manual claims that it can take up to 45 miles per galloon. Except for that engaging fact, the Ford Aspire is also very much favored for parallel parking. Also known for their resistance to submit to mechanical breakdown, these Ford Aspires have been observed to have the capacity to run above some 200,000 miles while not having to endure major repairs.

Upon its introduction in 1994, the Ford Aspire held a five speed manual transmission as well as an automatic transmission. This auto is a front drive automobile. It sometimes includes a 63 h.p. engine with four cylinders. For the two-door model, the Ford Aspire sports mist lights, a rear spoiler as well as different types of seats made available. As per the Ford Aspire that sports four doors, it holds a power rack and pinion steering. Thru the years, many changes have been done to the Ford Aspire. The list encompasses the removal of the front spoilers, and adding in of body-colored window moldings, rear spoilers, mist lamps, tachometer, a completely unique instrument cluster, special seat fabrics, special door trim fabrics, and center roof pillars. There also are changes as new front bumpers, new rear fenders, headlamps, turn signals, tail lamps, and wheel covers. Its design has been proved to work fine in allowing a fairly large amount of load. If the back seats are folded, the load is expanded significantly.

Ford Parts and Ford automobile Parts manufactures and sells performance parts and accessories for Ford vehicles. Ford Parts and Ford vehicle Parts strives to be the final source for auto parts and accessories for the Ford Aspire as well as for Ford automobiles. The shop’s product line up for the Ford Aspire accessories, body parts, brakes, climate control, clutch parts, electrical parts, transmission parts, mechanical parts, service tools, and a number of other upgrades and parts that compliment the auto. Ford Parts and Ford Auto Parts’ intensive array of maximum quality Ford parts are available at great wholesale deals.

The New Dodge Hornet

July 3rd, 2009

Toyota’s Scion brand has been a runaway hit for the Japanese automaker ever since being launched in 2003. Designed to appeal to Generation “Y” buyers, the vehicles are popular, edgy - some people would say ugly - and have given Toyota an important toehold with young buyers. GM, Ford, and Chrysler are getting ready to reply to Scion, but in different ways. GM is planning to import more vehicles from its Daewoo subsidiary while Ford and Chrysler are expected to build all new Scion fighting automobiles in Mexico, excellent news for motorists looking for affordable and quality automobiles. Let’s have a look at what’s coming down the pike.

For the record, Scion isn’t the only vehicle made for the Generation Y crowd. Honda’s Element and shortly to be released Fit subcompact are Scion competitors while the Chevy Cobalt, Dodge Caliper, and Saturn ION are also targeted toward young drivers. With that said, Dodge [Chrysler] and Ford must reply and it seems that both automakers will be fielding Scion fighters in the next 2 years.

The Dodge Hornet

Lo and behold, Dodge is nearing the finalization of its plans to build the Dodge Wasp . According to industry sources including Edmunds, the Hornet will be based on the VW Polo, a subcompact auto built by Volkswagen and popular in the EU market. This deal is astounding as Volkswagen and Mercedes [a DaimlerChrysler division, as is Dodge] compete fiercely, especially in Europe. VW has a plant in Mexico that likely will produce the Hornet as the company has excess capacity and the price tag advantage that no Yankee producing plant can offer. For its part, VW gets to sell rebadged versions of the Dodge Caravan minivan.

If based on the Polo, the Hornet is anticipated to use the Polo’s 1.6L engine and be paired with a VW transmission. Beyond that, look for the automobile to be closer in appearance to the Scion xA design, sport a five door hot hatch design, and seat five passengers. Now , the xA sells for just over $13,000, so expect the Dodge to compete at or below the Scion price.

The Ford Bronco

Don’t expect Ford to relax and watch from the sidelines as the market trends toward more Scion-like automobiles. In 2004 a concept Ford Bronco, taking styling cues from the 1966 Bronco wagon, made its appearance at vehicle shows. Now, Ford seems good to go ahead with the Bronco which will be built in Mexico.

Featuring a boxy design, the Bronco will be similar in design to the xB and to the Hornet and will likely be built on the current Fiesta platform to hold costs down. Indeed, Ford is hoping that a budget Bronco will sell for under $10,000 as it battles inexpensive imports expected from China as well as other Generation “Y” vehicles on the market.

Yes, the car wars never end and more battles are certain to ensue. Both Nissan with its Versa and a little Toyota by the name of Yaris will soon be released and competing on the market before the Hornet and Bronco arrive in 2008 as 2009 models.

What you need to inspect in a used car

July 3rd, 2009

Well the time of irrational exuberance is now long gone. For a lot of Americans excessive items like a new car is a thing of the past. Now when a family is in need of a new car they are forced to look into buying a used car.  This is evident in all of the financial problems the big 3 carmakers are having.  There sales are down.

But families will still be needing a form of transportation. But when families are on a tight budget they have to go with a cheaper choice.  That alternative is used cars.

As a San Diego auto repair shop owner I am asked to inspect some of these used cars.Because when you are making a purchase of a used car, the last thing you want is a lemon. So by taking the time to perform a good inspection, you may avoid costly repairs.

So when you are examining the used cars, take in mind these 2 things to look for.  First you want to check the brakes.  We do San Diego brakes in our shop.So I know from experience that having to repair brakes can be very costly.  If you purchase a car that the brakes weren’t maintained it could become expensive.Last thing you want to happen is the need to get the entire braking system replaced.  So make sure the brakes are good.

Second, you want to ensure that the car is running clean.  In other words can it pass a smog test.  In my business I do smog test in San Diego. The last thing you are going to want is the purchase of a used car that needs some expensive repairs.  Especially if those repairs involve emission problems.

If you buy a car that is unable to pass a smog check, that won’t be good.  It is a sign that the car wasn’t taken care of.What most likely occured is they didn’t do any maintenance on it.These could be the start of a lot more problems in the future.

If you make sure to inspect these few items you can save yourself some money. By not inspecting you can lead yourself into some big repairs. When you need to save money, I am pretty sure you don’t want that.

Buy at Federal Auto Auctions and save

July 2nd, 2009

Government on a federal level has a variety of departments, councils and agencies. The property and asset holdings of these agancies are different from one to the other. Quite often you will find that federal departments dispose of their assets in the form of public auctions. You’ll find BIG car bargains here. The General Services Administration is normally a good starting point if you’re looking for federal auctions.

The GSA is a standalone department that renders various services to federal workers and departments. They are also responsible for managing the fleet of federal owned vehicles. This is just shy of three hundred thousand different cars according to the latest report.

The agency have recently been subject of renewed demands to change it’s fleet of cars to greener vehicles. This will therefore result in more federal auto auctions in the near future as older models are sold and replaced.

At present federal auto auctions take place often and in each and every State. This is not a static schedule, and the department reserves the right to announce changes in dates. More often than not there are more than a few auction in one day - this creates opportunity for bidders at a number of events (easy to take advantage of if some of them are held online)!

Many auctions are only open to professional car dealers and not the public. These federal auctions are designed so that, as long as you can provide a valid proof of identity, you will be allowed to participate.

Bidding on these vehicles can become very competitive and participants should be cautious of the risks of overpaying. As always, it’s best to do thorough research before the day of the auction. This way you will know what a reasonable price will be for a particular make and model, and won’t risk overpaying. a Systematic, through approach should include a good inspection of the vehicles being auctioned by the General Services Administration. Normally a few weeks or days prior to the auction day, they will let potential particpants inspect the cars. This way you’ll be able to have a good idea on the condition of the goods that are up for sale.

As opposed to what some may say, federal auto auctions still have great deals for car bargain hunters. Do good research and know what to expect and you’ll be, as they say on Wall Street, “IN THE MONEY”.

Ford Brings us the Best Hybrid Car to Date

June 30th, 2009

Ever since the Taurus took a nose dive a few years ago, Ford has been looking for a suitable replacement to challenge the Accord and Camry in the mid-sized car segment. The Ford Fusion has been around since 2006 but is now modified with the new Hybrid power plant system from Ford. The Fusion Hybrid was finally revieled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late 2008.The excellent in-town gas mileage is what makes the Ford Fusion Hybrid so unique.  The EPA rates the Hybrid at 41 MPG which bests the Camry by 8 MPG and even outshines the Civic Hybrid by 1 MPG in the city;  a great feat for a mid-sized sedan.  The Fusion’s electric engine can power the car up to 47 MPH without any help from the gas engine.  Already there have been many automotive magazines that have employed this system to achieve much better MPG ratings then the EPA estimates.

Technology in the Fusion allows drivers to learn which style of driving is best for maximizing fuel economy.  They have created an ingenious system which is built into the instrument cluster called the SmartGauge.  There are 2 LCD screens located one on each side of the speedo which display 4 different information screens.  The first screen shows the fuel level and the level of power left in the batteries.  The second data screen adds an electric vehicle mode indicator and RPM Tach.  The third screen displays engine and battery output power. The fouth data screen shows which wheels are being powered and accessory power consumption.Knowledge centers in the Fusion have data that consists of Miles Per Gallon, fuel efficiency report, travel chart, and changes in radiator temperatures.Real time Mile Per Gallon information lets the driver know which driving style gains best fuel economy.

The navigation system also houses the Hybrid Energy Flow Display.  This display will track the 5 modes of the Fusion’s Hybrid Powertrain which are the; electric drive, hybrid drive, electric boost, idle charging, and regenerative breaking.

Ford not only equipped the Fusion with an environmentally friendly drivetrain; they also used post-industrial yarns which are recycled into the seats of the Fusion Hybrid.Tired of watching Toyota and Honda benifit off new hybrid vehicles, Ford decided to add a new hybrid vehicle to their line-up that will apeal to the masses.

How to Make Money Online by Online Marketing

June 30th, 2009

How to Make Money Online by Online Marketing

I don’t think there is any feeling worse then needing money. It just really sucks when you can’t pay your bills on time, your bank account is overdrawn and you have no idea how your going to afford to put gas in your car to make it to work the next day. Been there, done that so I know what your going through. But not to worry, with this article I am going to show you a simple method can bring in $1000 in 24 hours or less online.

Now by simple I don’t mean there will be no work involved. Quite the opposite. There is work involved, so if you are looking for a quick fix that requires no work on your part then I can’t help you. But if your looking for a proven step by step system that you can use to bring in money whenever you want, then read on.

Sure some of the traditional principles of marketing will be applicable to internet marketing, but a very important part of this business is just about coordinating your efforts toward specific actions that are proven to deliver results, and believe me, you have to be no guru to get them to work for you.

For instance, SEO (search engine optimization) is a proven technique to generate revenue through the use of websites, blogs or any other suitable form of landing page, because by using this technique you will generate what will be the main drive of your business: traffic, and best of all free!.

However, this traffic will not translate in just some random visits, it will be a load of targeted visitors because they will land on your website after submitting a search looking to find what you have to offer, whether it is information, products or simply a good time. Either way, each visit you generate through SEO is a qualified visit with a huge potential to do what you want in your website (it could be to purchase a product, provide information or simply click on your ads, among some of the ways of generating revenue).

You only have to keep in mind that SEO is a lot of work, it is totally worth it, but I would say this is a long term approach rather than a fast track method.

If you can put together a short 6-10 page report showing them how to do that you will make a ton of money. Information products sell like crazy online. They are easy to put together and the profit margin is huge. You can sell your short report for just $5 and sell just 200 copies to make $1000.

This kind of marketing involves associating with a company in a view to promote their products or services. When someone clicks on the ads, they are taken to the landing page on the company’s website. When there is a sale due to such marketing, you earn commission. Such a method of affiliate marketing is considered as basic affiliate marketing.

However, it is important to note that even this simple technique demands for you to know what you are doing. You cannot just throw yourself at the mercy of Google AdWords, because as simple as this method might be, you can never overlook the fundamental rules of the game if you really want to make money.

The All New Ford Mondeo

June 30th, 2009

The Ford Mondeo has firmly planted itself into the nation’s collective conscience as the stylish saloon of choice. The Ford Mondeo has been through a variety of image changes and has quickly evolved from a rather dumpy looking long haul car, to a sporty, sleek and attractive saloon. I have slight concerns that I am slightly concerned would prevent me from investing in a brand new Ford Mondeo.

Firstly, I like to think of myself as something of an individual. I enjoy wearing clothes that few other people have, listening to music that is not enjoyed by the entire population and driving cars that have considerably more character and individuality behind them than the Mondeo does. It has to be said that if you leave your home for any period of time, you can virtually guarantee you will see the minimum one Ford Mondeo making its way past you.

Secondly, I question whether the Ford Mondeo has the ilk of luxuriousness that I would require from my car choice. I’m not referring to gadgets such as sat nav or video screens in the rears of the seats; I am talking about that masterly comfort and smooth driving performance that you only get from a certain pedigree of car.

When I was looking for a brand new Saloon car I definitely had these concerns in mind, but decided to heed the advice of the majority of automotive critics and give the Ford Mondeo a fair trial. I decided to visit my nearest Ford Online dealership to set up the test drive.

As it happens I am awesomely happy that I gave the Mondeo a test drive, as it proved itself to be something of a revelation. The comfort of the drive was similar to that of a car worth fantastically more than the Mondeo. It undoubtedly is the King of Saloons.

The Cadillac Escalade Hybrid is Awesome

June 30th, 2009

The Escalade Hybrid is the perfect vehicle for consumers that want to go green and still get the luxury of a Cadillac SUV,. The Escalade Hybrid seats up to 8 people. The Cadillac Escalade Hybrid is the only full size SUV with a 2 mode hybrid powertrain on the market. The Escalade Hybrid achieves around 50% better fuel economy than other conventional models in city driving and at least 40% increase overall, due to its two mode hybrid powertrain.

The Cadillac Escalade's two-mode hybrid system combines GM's Vortec 6.0 Liter V8 engine with Cadillac's new Automatic EVT transmission. The Automatic transmission is also powered by two electric motors that make it a true hybrid.GM's Active Fuel Management System in the V8 shuts down 4cylinders in light load conditions to save fuel.  It also shuts off at stoplights or when idling and restarts when needed, and the electric motors allow the engine to operate in the four cylinder mode more often.

With light throttle, the electric motors can propel the 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid up to 30 mph, but together the electric motor and gasoline engine produce 332 hp and 367lb.ft. of torque. The electric motors, electric steering system, and the electric air conditioning compresser are all powered by a 300 volt battery pack located under the second row seats. Regenerative braking will charge the batteries. The Escalade hybrid is available in two and four wheel drive.  But the hybrid powertrain is only available on the standard length Escalade.

As far as towing capability, the 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid will be rated to tow up to 6000 pounds with rear wheel drive and 5700 pounds with all wheel drive. To inform the driver which mode the SUV is running in, the Escalade Hybrid has a hybrid drive system inside showcased on an eight-inch touch screen. To encourage better fuel economy, the Cadillac Escalade Hybrid comes with an economy gauge that represents which zones the drivers should drive in.The Escalade hybrid also has an Auto Stop reader on the RPM gauge to let drivers know when the gas engine is off.

Is Your Search Engine Optimization Costing You A Fortune?

June 30th, 2009

A regular question I get from small and medium sized business owners is just how much they should be spending on search engine optimization. The reality is that your SEO efforts should be based on the number of websites you’re trying to improve rankings for as well as the number of keywords you are managing. Whether the number of search engine optimization takes time and effort.

Optimize your site for a specific keyword or keyword phrase is not free. It’s often the case SEO is much more costly. Unfortunately, the comparison is usually between a search engine optimization and PPC. With pay-per-click advertising, it is true that your expense happens in real time, but search engine optimization has a financial impact as well. Think of your time, and the time of others working on search engine initiatives as having a cost - time is money.

You begin incurring costs as soon as you start spending your time reviewing your site from an SEO perspective. Beyond the initial site review are efforts related to keyword analysis and taking a closer look at each of your competitors. As a result you are incurring costs associated with the value of your own labor. You could also outsource these functions to a third party and applicable fees would be incurred. The key is to consider your time as money. Each moment you spend could be used towards something else.

The cost of doing things that they are real. A great way to determine the actual cost of wages divided by your current working hours or the equivalent of 2000 full-year work. This allows you charge an hourly rate. If you are doing much of the heavy lifting for your SEO efforts, this is essentially the price you’re paying. It may not feel like other people to pay the cost of one hour, but the impact is almost the same.
